Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Instructor Course

The Instructor Course is designed for nurses who have successfully completed the Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Course and meet the qualifications to be trained to teach the course. This is one of APHON's most popular programs and attendance is limited to 75 participants.

General Course Information
- Confirmation
Your course registration confirmation will be e-mailed once it has been received, approved and processed. If you do not receive a confirmation within two weeks of submitting your registration, please call APHON at 847/375-4724.
- Course Location

- Course Times
Registration begins at 7:45am and the course will start at 8:30am. The course adjourns at 4:15pm. If you are more than 20 minutes late for the course you will forfeit your attendance and no refunds will be made.
- Meals
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Attendees are responsible for securing their own hotel accomodations. Suggested hotels include:

Airport shuttle service from the Memphis International Airport to hotels runs every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour. Shuttle service from the hotels to the Memphis International Airport runs every hour.

- Course Attire
The attire for the course is business casual. Please remember that meeting room temperatures tend to fluctuate, so you may want to bring a light sweater.
- Continuing Education Information
The Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
We urge you to be aware of the continuing education requirements of your own state board of nursing, especially for those states in which continuing education is mandatory. Attendees can earn 6.25 nursing contact hours by attending the entire course and completing and submitting an evaluation form to APHON. Contact hour certificates will be provided online following the course and after completing an evaluation.
