    Hi,
We are looking at creating a practice agreement/job description for the APRN’s in our group.  This is just meant to capture what we do currently and the value our flexibility brings to the program.  We currently have 13 APRN’s and 14 MD’s who essentially share the work load around most of the provider roles, procedures, clinic, hospital rounding, chart preparation etc.  This year the MD’s went to RVU based salaries and, while we haven’t seen any changes yet in the way we are scheduled and the volume of patients that we see daily, we would be remiss to not at least anticipate potential changes.

We’ve never had practice agreement that is specific to our hem/onc positions.  We love our current role and the flexibility it gives us to provide clinical care and do program development.  We currently do call and weekends and most likely will continue to do so.  We would like to put some of responsibilities on paper in a semi-eloquent way and are wondering if any group already has such a document that they are willing to share.

    Thanks!

I used the AANC guidelines for the Essentials of the Advanced Practice Provider to address my role as an APRN in the job description I wrote up
