PPE is not necessary for patient examination; only if a patient is in some type of other isolation such as contact.

I was wondering what guidelines are being followed at your institutions regarding the use of PPE and/or standard precautions when examining patients who have received chemotherapy within the past 48 hours.  Do the nurses and physicians wear any type of PPE for this?
    I would appreciate any feedback
