    All of our precautions are from the start of Thiotepa and for 24 hours post.  

    • We do baths Q6 hours w/ linen changes
    • no creams/lotions
    • No dressings (not even paper tape as we have seen burns with this)
    • Dressing=gauze and fish net stocking
    • We have not seen an increase in CLABSIs with Thiotepa patients

    In the blood and marrow transplant setting, what are your thiotepa bath policies including central line dressing care.  If you do not use an occlusive dressing, did you notice a change in BSI rates?  Thanks!
