Premedicate with corticosteroids per MD/APN order.
Obtain vital signs before infusion, every 15 minutes x1 hour, then every 30 minutes x1 hour, and then every hour until complete. Observe for reactions during and 2 hours post infusion.
We give it over 6 hours (no ramping)
Test dose over 2 hours

Over how long do you run the infusion?
Do you titrate the rate? If so, what is your practice for titration?
