Hello, We have infused cells through a port without any problem here at BCH. Let me know if you have additional questions. Caroline

I am wondering if anyone has experience infusing stem cells through a port-a-cath? We have a patient who will be coming for a reduced intensity transplant and for multiple reasons the team wants to place a port but we are discussing the risks of infusing the cells through the port.
Happy Holidays, Lisa
