    Hi Caryl,

We allow caregivers to eat in the room and use the bathroom/shower (bathtub/shower is cleaned before/after each use.) We do also have a family kitchen/lounge and additional family showers located on the unit.

Hello, I was looking to see what your institutions guidelines/policies are in regards to allowing parents/caregivers to eat in room while in for BMT? Do you have a lounge are on unit for parents/caregivers that can assist with letting them eat there?
Do you allow parents/caregivers to use patient shower and bathroom while they are in for BMT.  Any information would be appreciated.
    Thanks
