We use regular masks (not N95 for BMT patients)

In light of the international shortage of PPE, we are reviewing our practice of having BMT patients wear a N95 masks in the hallways in the hospital and while outside of their home/crowded areas during the transplant recovery period.
Can you please share if you have your BMT patients wear a mask in either of these situations and what type of mask?
Thank you, Liz
