    Hi
Why it’s contraindicated to bath the patients with CHG during Thiotepa infusion days?

    Regards

    Hey Mary Lynn,

We wait 24 hours after the last dose of thiotepa to resume CHG bathing.

How long does everyone wait to restart CHG/Hibi baths following thiotepa?

    Thanks,

    Hello,
We use sterile water and a 2×2 gauze and Surgilast to hold the gauze in place.

    Hello all,
We typically do thiotepa baths every 6 hours for 48 post thiotepa, and with that we use hibicleans and a gauze dressing. Has anyone run into the issue of a patient being allergic to CHG and not tolerating the hibicleans soap? If so, what do you use instead?

    Thanks
