Yes, I agree the ONS course has very little pediatrics. We do provide supplemental training to bridge the gap. So excited to hear there will be an updated version of the APHON Peds HSCT Curriculum Modules. Can’t wait to make the proposal to the Education committee to substitute these modules for the ONS course in pediatrics.

Do you provide supplemental content specific to pediatrics and you center operations? I took that course years ago and it had very little pediatric content at the time. I would be interested in hearing about how you address this gap. It seems like using the on-line course would be beneficial to provide the basic concepts and nursing care of TCT. and then more on-site/in-house training re: peds and center-specific concerns.
