    • Is the ELNEC training offered housewide to staff? i.e. Hem/Onc/SCT, NICU, PICU, CICU? Yes, housewide.
    • Do all nurses in your peds Hem/Onc/SCT unit attend? Yes
      • What about the ICUs? Yes
    • Who are the trainers? (train the trainer)? Those who have become ELNEC trainers through ELNEC trainer program. All different specialties including HO, PICU, Hospice. All are or were bedside RNs. One is HO nurse educator
      • i.e. do you have Palliative Care APNs, RNs, Chaplains and educators/bedside nurses
    • How often do you run your program? 2 times a year in 4 -4hr sessions. Must attend all to get credit.
    • How long is your class for bedside RNs? See above
    • How did you receive funding for the train the trainer costs and then end user training? We sent interested talent to trainer education as a perk of their vested interest. We have 5 trainers.
    • Any other info? Logistics?
    • What is the feedback about the program in general? Excellent. We do small group case studies that the attendees research over the sessions and present the last one. We also have a parent panel that speaks on the last day and present their unique perspective. It’s an excellent class with a waiting list.
