    Hi Deborah

We use the same dressing kit we use for our Hickman and Ports. It is just easier to keep the sterile process universal.

Appreciate any tips on the best way to secure/dress the high flow needle that is used with a vortex port.  We currently brace with 2 X 2’s, sterile tape, and 2 tegaderms, but on kids where the needle does not sit flush with the skin–still seems unstable.  Would love to hear what others are doing.
