Following this great question. We do not have a tracking method but have discussed this topic a handful of times.

    Subject: Tracking Patient Education

I am looking for a good method to track patient education that is reviewed with families. (outside of EPIC/Cerner/etc.) I would like to track what books, pamphlets, and handouts are given to families and when specific discussions completed with families (eg. starting school, sexual health, retinopathy screening). I’m also looking for anyone who has a developed time line of when you provide certain education topics from birth to AYA. My goal to to have a more standardized approach and be sure everyone receives the education they need. Thank you!!!
