    Good morning,

Jocelyn, I would be happy to chat with your new SCD APRN and assist in knowledge sharing. If shadowing is an option I am happy to partner with you to assess if that is possible here at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus Ohio.

Happy to help her;I am the sickle cell APN in New Jersey at Rutgers cancer institute. I’m in pediatrics.  I know shadowing isn’t an option since I’m in NJ but happy to connect with her!

    Hi everyone,

Our *small* practice just recently welcomed a new PNP (woohoo)! We serve most of central/western KS. She is helping streamline our sickle cell patient care. Since she is diving in with this population without much sickle cell background I am trying to help get her connected with a few people who may be willing to help/mentor her or if any hospitals allow APRNs from other institutions to come and shadow for 1-2 weeks that would be really AMAZING!

Please let me know if you have any interest! Thanks!
    Jocelyn
