As we recently opened our Pediatric Intensive Care Services Unit we have worked the Chemo/Bio course into the orientation plan for the nurses being hired.  Before we opened the new unit nurses in PICU would administer chemotherapy with the assistance of a Pedi nurse certified to administer chemo or with an adult ICU nurse certified to administer chemo.
