New graduate RN=16 week RN Residency
    Exp. RN=8-12 weeks

APHON chemo class is usually offered ~week 8 or 9 for the new graduate.  We are a hem/onc/SCT unit and therefore give a lot of chemo so we want the preceptor to be there during the initial competency.

12 weeks for all new staff in general. They learn about chemo admin at about a year unless they administered it before
We have med-surg and oncology populations.

On your hematology/oncology inpatient unit, what is your orientation length for a nurse new to oncology?
    Thanks for your input!
