If the infusion does not fit into one bag we break it up into 2-12 hour bags.

What is your institution’s current practices for infusing 24 hour high dose methotrexate?

Do you have the large volume broken into 2-12 hour bags or do you run a single liter of methotrexate over 24 hours with the fluids y-sited into the tubing?

Thank you for your input and Happy Thanksgiving!
