we have seen a + blood culture become – when rotating Antbx have been used. Not sure if we have done this as part of a study.

Our hospital and many alternate lumens of antibiotics in our kids with multiple lumen lines. Does anyone have any evidence for this practice? I’ve seen references to its benefit but it had never been connected to a study. All we are going by is “probably a good idea” at my hospital, and it should be examined as to why we do the things that we do.

    Thanks!
