Does anyone put anything under their port a cath needles (i.e. biopatch) for infection prevention when the kiddo is going to be accessed for several days ? We don’t do this practice – we just access and cover with a tegaderm usually but our adult oncology does this practice and wanted to see if anyone in other peds oncology areas does something like this??
