Our clinic access team is responsible for obtaining prior authorization for outpatient medications and scheduled chemo admissions.  The inpatient case management team handles discharge medications.

In your institution who completes prior authorizations for medications?  Are outpatient medications and inpatient discharge medications done by different individuals? Thank you!
