We currently push really hard for all our patients to wear non skids socks.
We have PCAs give to all admits
We also have staff round every hour
When a patient does fall we huddle and they are then required to be placed on a bed alarm.

We have recently observed a rise in falls for adolescent patients in  inpatient departments.

Do you have any specific fall prevention strategies for the adolescent population in your inpatient departments?

    Thank you

    Sherry
