We also do on the Heme/ Onc floor with the patient a 2:1 ratio. Our patient is on relapsed round 14 and does very well (only fever and diarrhea- due to irinotecan) only receiving pre meds. We tried to do 3:1 for the patient and the nurses complained. In the past all the other patients were 2:1 with the other patient being an “easy” patient.

If your patient has a port, do you start another line? What type of line do you insert?

    Hi there…
Recently had a change in our Dinutuximab infusions and wondering how other facilities are currently handling it.
    1.  Is it administered in Pediatrics or PICU?
    2.  What is your staffing ratio?

Thank you in advance for taking the time to reply!
