We use chux that have a plastic bottom side.  I don’t think we have had any issues with any accidently being flushed down the toilet and dispose of the chux in a chemo bin when done.

    Subject: Toilet Flushing

Hello, I am looking for any information on what other people are doing when flushing toilets for patients receiving chemo.

Does anyone have experience with the Splashblocker product? This is a plastic shield that is held over the toilet when flushing.

Is anyone using a Chuck pad to cover the toilet? How is this working / have many of the pads been flushed down the toilet?

    I appreciate any feedback!
