At Sloan we conduct a post fall huddle in near real time( as soon as possible after the incident). Pt is seen by a provider, assessed for need for any testing, treatment or follow up. No “routine”.

Hi at CHOP it would depend on physician assessment. We do perform a fall risk re-assessment after the fall but any monitoring would be based on the injury or result of the fall event.

Hello, Curious what other institutions practices are regarding post-fall assessment standards. Do you have a standard frequency at which vitals, neuro checks, etc. are completed or is it based on physician assessment? Thank you!
