We have been using PEWS for many years now. Initially there was live education at staff meetings as well as power point modules in our computer learning program. There were reference sheets available to all staff, and recently they made a conveient little card that fits on our badges. I’d be happy to put you in contact with our nursing chair of that committee if you’d like further details. Please feel free to email me at koneill@cmh.edu.
    Thanks!

    Hello,
We are in the process of builing and implement the PEWS (Pediatric Early Warning Score) Tool. Are other institutions using this tool? If so, how did you go about educating staff? Have you seen a difference since using PEWS? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
