We use CHG baths on our SCT patients. We skip using them on patients who are sensitive to them (allergy, worsens skin condition) and those who are on thiotepa baths. We use them on infants.

For patients less than 10 kg: 1 cloth for chest, arms, back. 1 cloth for legs, buttocks, perineum (2 total)
10-30 kg: 1 cloth for chest and arms. 1 cloth for back and buttocks. 1 cloth for legs. 1 cloth for perineum (4 total)
    >30 kg: 1 cloth for chest and arms. 1 cloth for right leg. 1 cloth for left leg. 1 cloth for back. 1 cloth for buttocks. 1 cloth for perineum. (6 cloths total).

We are considering doing CHG baths for our transplant patients.  Do other SCT Centers use them?  Do you have restrictions on who can not use them?  Do you use them on infants or patients with GVHD?

    Thank you for your time.
