We have frequently admitted patients the night before for this protocol. Even for patients that opt not to stay an extra day at first, future cycles they end up being admitted early, due to delays, hydration, etc.

    Hi:

I am wondering what your routine is for newly diagnosed Hodgkin’s Patients for their very FIRST cycle of chemotherapy?

On their very first day for AHOD0031 the patients get several chemotherapy drugs and are therefore experience quite a bit of nausea/vomiting.  Do you ever admit patients on this protocol overnight (especially their very first treatment)?
