    We draw both central and peripheral cultures with the first presentation of fever, then draw central only for any subsequent fevers during the same episode if fever presents 24 hours after cultures were last taken

        We do not draw peripheral cultures.
    We draw 2 sets of cultures from all lumens 10 minutes apart for the first fever only/
