We have the same guidlines… all patients between 8-4  M-F (no holidays) will come to the clinic.  All other times they will go directly to the ED.

    Hello,

We are trying to standardize a policy in which we can better accomdate urgent and emergency visits in our Heme Onc Outpatient clinics. Does anyone have policies around handling unexpected add-on and emergency visits such as Fever/Neutropenia, Bleeding, etc. Do these include guidelines for type of emergency visit and timing to clinic?

    Thank you,
