We use sterile water in a squirt bottle and cloth diapers to clean the diaper area. The cloth diapers are very soft.

    Hello from Phoenix 🙂

Traditionally, we have made baggies of “water wipes” for our patients with skin breakdown/sensitivity issues. However, we are concerned about bacterial/fungal growth in the baggies if RNs don’t toss the baggies every day and happen to double dip during a messy diaper change (gross!).

Our current wipe product has known allergens- probably why we don’t like to use it. Do any of you have a diaper wipe product that works for you? If so, please share. Also, if you have a process to ensure that your “water wipes” are not contaminated, please share that as well.

    Thank you!
