    Hi Michael,
At Cincinnati Children’s the educator is required to work 8 hours every 2 weeks in a clinical role taking patients.

I am also interested in hearing the clinical requirement for educators at other institutions.
    Thanks,
    Keith

In your hospital, do educators also spend time in staffing, meaning that your work for the entire day is to take a full patient assignment rather than assess, develop or provide education?

If so, how frequently must you do this?
