We don’t use CHG for CVAD care or for bathing during thiotepa or for 36 hours after completion. They will resume CHG baths after that time period.

We do not use CHG for any patients the week of conditioning.  WE did not want it with Thiotepa, radiation of Etoposide so we just removed it for all that week.  They start CHG on day 0.

    Hello:

Since Hibi is CHG we don’t use it for a week post thiotepa; we do use just a regular foam soap and water in the bath Q6 hours
