Subject: question about flush lock PICC (hepain conentration)

    hello,

Kindly appreciate your help in providing me with the Flock Lock pediatric protocol for CVAD.

    Especially PICC lines.
    – Do you flush PICC lines for patients more than 40 kg with 100 units heparin per  ml (2ml) in each lumen  for locking of 24 hours
and if the patient is less than 40 kg with 10 units heparin me ml 2 ml in each lumen ?
    – if the heparin lock is for  less than 24 hours example every 12hours , do you flush the lumens with with 10 unit heparin per ml ? (2 to 3 ml in each lumen)?
    – Do you put PICC lines in your table with the non tunneled catheter or alone? Do you apply the same flushing technique for piccs and non tunneled catheters?

    Thank you for your help.
