    We aspirate 6ml of blood upon accessing all ports.

    ​​it is highly appreciated to answer my below concern:

    – if you have an implanted port locked with  heparin, do  u ASPIRATE the content of the implanted port to prevent accidental push of heparin systemically before flushing  ??
    if yes how many ml do we need to aspirate to clear the port from the locked heparin with Normal saline
