    If we need to, yes, we will stop, flush, draw the sample, flush and then restart

     

    If we are drawing drug levels (the drug that is infusing), we never draw during; always wait until completed

    do you STOP chemotherapy infusion to aspirate blood from port/IVAD/ polysite while chemotherapy is still infusing or you take peripheral blood samples?
    please, if you can provide some guidelines.
