We currently have 2 seperate clinical managers: one for inpatient and one for outpatient.  Outpatient also has a business OPs manager.  We communicate frequently, but with the way our institution is organized, outpatient falls under the medical group and we each report to different directors.

    Hello All,

I am hoping to find a couple of organizations to speak with in regards to Service Lines.  At Connecticut Children’s we are making plans to become a more true service line encompassing both inpatient and outpatient in its leadership structure.  Would any of you be willing to share your organization’s leadership grid, job descriptions, or words of wisdom?
