All of our IP nurses are required to have PALS. We have a resource transport team that transports ICU patients to tests and to radiation therapy (through a bridge).

Do your institutions require a PALS certified nurse to accompany pediatric patients to TBI in your rad onc department? Or do you rely on systems already in place if an event occurs – i.e. rad onc staff perform BLS until pediatric code team can arrive?
