We have been using Spiros on IT syringes, but are currently trialing another type that would be less cumbersome for the provider but still a closed system.  The provider directly attaches syringe  to needle.

Hi there APHON friends!  Please share if your institution applies (or is planning on applying) CSTDs to intrathecal chemotherapy?  We are going live with Spiros (made by ICU Medical) next week and need some clarification on how this works.  Would love to hear if you decided NOT to use with IT drugs and if you do, how you use (i.e. stopcock).
    Thank you!!!
