We currently have salary enhancement contracts available to our nurses.  We are offering one additional shift/week to orientees to try to speed up their orientation time.

    Thanks

    Sarah

We are not cutting our nursing orientations short.

Is this happening in a lot of institutions?

    Hello All:

Does anyone have any good articles/references on why nursing orientation should NOT be cut/shortened due to staffing shortages/crisis?

What is happening in your hospitals/units related to this?
