Reply To: Outpatient Urine POC and Pregancy checks
Our UAs are performed in our clinic using a Clinitek machine and the RN or MA/Nursing Assistant are able to run Urine POC testing. Urine Pregnancy tests are sent to our lab.

If you work in an outpatient setting, who perfroms your POC testing and preganancy tests? The RN or the lab? If it’s the lab, what’s the turn-around time? How often do you require a pregnancy test with females >11years receiving chemo?
