I guess my question was more along the lines if other institutions are trying to cut costs by using more MAs then RNs when they are allowed to do certain functions.
I’m going to take a second look at our State law, but I am pretty sure they can only do phlebotomy lab draws.

MA practice is governed at the state level. You would need to check your state regulations for what MA’s can do in your setting.
