‚ÄčIf we have available beds, they are seen in our Ambulatory infusion center by our NP’s. If we cannot accommodate them at the time of the call then they are instructed to go to the ER.

    Hi Everyone,

Currently at our institution all sickle cell fever patients are referred to the ER for treatment. I was wondering if you could tell me if you treat your sickle cell fever patients in your outpatient clinic or if they are referred to the ER?

    Thanks
    Joanie
