    Hey!

I work at Duke University’s outpatient infusion center, which is connected to the hospital, but is functionally separate.  We give ID bands to all our patients at check in and scan all medications prior to administration, just as inpatient does.

    Good Afternoon!
Does anyone work (or know the workflow) in a pediatric infusion center, outside the hospital?  If so, do the patients get ID bands there and are medications scanned (i.e. rituximab, remicade) before they are given, similar to how a hospital would do it?
    Thank you!
