I apologize for the late response.
Med Action Plan was a project we worked on through our outpatient clinic 2014-2017.  It linked to our EPIC system and allowed us to send over our medication lists through an inbasket message.  They were working on a more seamless delivery method but it was not implemented when we were using it.  This allowed us to print an additional medication schedule / sheet for families that was very user friendly.  It has printable calendar check off sheets, pictures of syringe dosing and was easy to use.  It allowed text reminders that families could utilize, a compliance tracking system.

    Hi Sheryl,

I would love to hear more about how your clinic is using MedAction Plan with EPIC. This is something that my institution is just starting to look into. Please email me if you are willing and able! kellie.kirbitz@helendevoschildrens.org

We have been working over the last year to implement the MedAction Plan program in our hematology/oncology outpatient clinic.  It is now active and available to our staff, who are slowly picking up steam to utilize it.

My question for all of you is:

Are there any other institutions currently using this program with EPIC?  And if so would you like to brainstorm together to work out implementation road blocks we’ve found?
