We use a validated tool (AUS-rule) here in Australia for risk stratification of paediatric FN, which is also used in the UK. The PMC full-text free article can be found at https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/32637894/ Would need to seek permissions to share policy but let me know if you want.

We are working on a protocol for treating low risk F&N patients in the outpatient setting so as not to admit them if not needed. Do other institutions have an algorithm for determining what constitutes “low risk” and/or have a policy regarding outpatient treatment of these patients?
Thanks in advance for any help!
