FSCDR Virtual Symposium on Nursing in Sickle Cell Disease

The nursing profession is vital to the proper care of patients with sickle cell disease. The symptoms of this genetic disorder are often misunderstood and minimized, leaving patients with unmet needs. Understanding the plight of Sickle Cell Warriors is the first step to caring for this community.
Join the Foundation for Sickle Cell Disease Research (FSCDR) for the October 2025 Virtual Symposium on Nursing in Sickle Cell Disease. FSCDR’s mission is to tirelessly research, inform, hear, respect, treat, and support all individuals with sickle disease and to make the disease a livable, non-threatening condition.
This symposium will attract unique individuals who are leading researchers, physicians, clinicians, stakeholders, advocates, and social workers with the common goal of finding better treatment and, ultimately, a cure for sickle cell disease.
