Overview of the Course: Presented at the 2025 Spring Education Exchange (SEE) this course presents “Future-Proofing Nursing: Leadership Innovations for Retention, Generational Harmony, and Healthy Work Environments, we will explore essential nursing leadership strategies to create a sustainable and thriving healthcare environment. The focus will be on three pivotal areas: retention, generational harmony, and healthy work environments. Attendees will gain insights into cutting-edge approaches for enhancing nurse retention and engagement by examining successful case studies and evidence-based practices. This includes balancing metrics, career development opportunities, and recognition initiatives. The presentation will also address generational harmony by promoting tailored communication techniques, intergenerational team-building activities, and leveraging the strengths of each generation while exploring innovative ways to utilize the retiring workforce. Lastly, we will discuss creating and maintaining healthy work environments that support nurses’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being, offering practical solutions for reducing burnout and enhancing job satisfaction. Join us to equip yourself with the leadership tools and strategies needed to future-proof nursing and build a resilient, harmonious, and healthy workforce.
