Course Overview: This course on ifosfamide-induced neurotoxicity (IIN) is designed for healthcare professionals to enhance their understanding and management of this condition. Participants will explore the incidence, symptoms, and risk factors associated with IIN, including direct neuronal injury and inadequate hydration. The course will delve into the pathophysiology, differential diagnosis, evaluation, and typical management strategies for IIN. Additionally, it will highlight the critical role of nurses and advanced practice nurses in educating families about IIN and providing care for children who develop this condition. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage IIN and improve patient outcomes.Â
