APHON offers a variety of educational programs, conferences, and courses to help you keep pace with advancements in pediatric hematology/oncology nursing.

The Annual Conference and Exhibit is the premier educational experience for nurses who specialize in pediatric hematology/oncology nursing and your opportunity to gain valuable knowledge from experts in the field, examine current and future trends, network with nurses who experience the same daily challenges, and earn continuing nursing education credit for advanced practice nurses.

Members receive discounted prices on registration fees for all educational events.

The Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

The Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Program standardizes education regarding administration of pediatric chemotherapy and biotherapy. This program includes both a provider course and an instructor course. Only APHON members who are CPON^® certified may take the instructor course; the provider course is open to everyone.

Upcoming Courses

The Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Instructor Course is designed for nurses who have successfully completed the Pediatric Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Course and meet the qualifications to be trained to teach the course. This is one of APHON's most popular programs and attendance is limited to 75 participants.

APHON’s local chapters (more than 40 located throughout the United States and Canada) offer ongoing educational opportunities and a place to network and discuss issues of local importance.
