Tips for Creating High-Quality Videos
Follow these guidelines to ensure your video submissions are clear, professional, and effective:
Plan and Organize
- Write down your answers before recording to keep your presentation smooth and focused.
- Keep each response concise—maximum 3 minutes per question. For example, if there are three questions, your total video should be no longer than 9 minutes.
- Applications that exceed the maximum time limit will not be considered for program consideration.
Start with an Introduction
- Begin your first video by introducing yourself:
- Full name
- City and country
- Name of your hospital
Set Up Your Environment
- Choose a plain, simple background for your video.
- Record in a quiet space to minimize distractions.
- Pay attention to audio quality:
- Use an external microphone if possible.
- A smartphone headset can improve sound clarity.
- Poor audio makes it harder to understand and can distract viewers.
- Ensure good lighting:
- Avoid sitting in front of windows or lamps.
- Light coming from behind creates shadows and makes facial expressions hard to see.
Technical Tips
- Hold your phone horizontally (landscape mode) before recording.
- Keep your device steady:
- Use a tripod or a stack of books.
- Ask someone to help record if needed.
Final Check
Watch your video before submitting to ensure quality and clarity.
Applications will be accepted January 20, 2026 through February 25, 2026.
